How to Properly use Eyeshadow as Eyeliner

Today, I am going to show you two methods to use eye shadow as eyeliner. Using an eye shadow as eyeliner is a great way to get creative and spot the look you want if you don’t have eyeliner or you don’t have it in the shade you want. Tools you will need: - A matte eyeshadow - A shimmer eyeshadow - A cup of water - Pointed eyeshadow brush. Method 1: Use Matte Eyeshadow as Eyeliner Pick any matte eye shadow you like, grab a pointed eyeliner brush and dip it in a cup of water. Once the brush is damp/slightly wet, put it in the matte eye shadow and coat the brush. Now, start creating the liner by following your upper lash line, and if you want, you can flick the end too. You can always use more water and coat the brush again with eye shadow to achieve the desired coverage and finish. Method 2: Use Shimmer Eyeshadow as Eyeliner It is possible to use shimmer eye shadow as eyeliner too and it gives a dramatic effect that’s creative as well. Pick any shimmer eye shadow you like, grab your pointed eyeliner brush and dip it into a cup of water. Once the brush is damp/slightly wet, take some shimmer eye shadow and coat the brush. Now, start using the liner by following your upper lash line and you can flick the end too if you like. You can always use more water and coat the brush again with eye shadow to achieve the desired coverage and finish. Shimmer eye shadows are easier to work with than metallic/glittery eye shadow as its coverage is not as strong and you’ll have bigger flakes to work with.
