For an easy way to apply your liquid foundation, try using your fingers. It will give you a little less coverage than using a brush or a sponge, but it will look natural and beautiful. Tools you will need for this video: a primer or moisturizer, liquid foundation, and your fingers. Step 1: Start with a primer that’s suitable for your skin type. Apply it evenly on your face with your fingertips. Choose a mattifying primer for oily skin or a moisturizing one for dry skin. Step 2: Place a small amount of foundation onto the back of your hand, or onto a mixing palette. This will avoid having too much product on your hand and that you always can add more if you need to. Make sure you’re using the right foundation for your skin tone! Step 3: Dip your fingers into your foundation. Be careful not to use too much product. Step 4: Apply the foundation to your face using circular motions. Be light-handed and avoid dragging your skin. Instead, gently blend the foundation and spread it evenly over your face. Step 5: Keep buffing and blending until you get an even layer/finish. Remember to blend into your hairline and jawline for a natural look. For this tutorial, I used the Wild Nature Liquid Foundation in the shade light. That’s it! You now have a smooth, even canvas that’s ready for your other makeup products.
