How to Apply Liquid Foundation Properly for a Natural Makeup Look

To use liquid foundation for a natural makeup look, all you need to do is prepare your skin well before the application and not use too much liquid foundation. Also, using a foundation brush for the application will make the affair mess-free and can even help you achieve an even base all over. Tools you will need: - A moisturiser - A primer (optional) - Liquid foundation - A foundation brush Step 1: Applying a Good Moisturiser Use your fingers for application and blend it into the skin. Applying a moisturizer that is suitable for your skin needs will help you achieve a good start before applying the foundation. It will also help reduce the appearance of dry skin and add a bit of glow to the look. It will, moreover, give you a better slip. Step 2: Applying Primer (Optional) Use a bit on your fingers and blend it evenly over the face, or just apply it on the T-zone. Some primers can help you achieve a smoother skin texture and others will help you control the oil if you get shiny during the day. Step 3: Applying Liquid Foundation Properly for a Natural Look Now, I am going to show you how to apply liquid foundation perfectly using a brush for a natural finish. Take only one pump of liquid foundation on a mixing palette or the back of your hand. Now, use a clean foundation brush and dig into the liquid foundation. Make sure that the foundation shade matches your skin tone; you’ll know the correct shade by applying a bit to your neck and jawline and blending it into the skin. If the foundation disappears and melts into your skin tone, it’s the correct shade. Start off by applying a bit onto your cheeks; then continue on the forehead and chin, and a bit on the nose. Gradually, blend the foundation into the skin using circular motions. Disclaimer: My videos are not sponsored and there are no affiliate links.
