Available from July, the new shades are said to be inspired by Hollywood’s stars from the Golden Age, including nudes, reds and pinks, to ‘bring a touch of freshness to summer make-up looks’.
With its creamy formula and intense colour, Rouge à Lèvres Satin lipstick delivers ‘a perfect and long-lasting finish’, leaving lips ‘smooth and soft, and is lightweight with a comfortable feel’.
“I thought back to the lipsticks I saw in my life, when I was little, my mum’s lipstick, who was always inspired by the 50s, and I wanted to give it the most powerful meaning, that of the Hollywood divas and the mythology of cinema, which first put the lips in the spotlight,” added Michele.
The new blue-green lipstick cases are etched with a decorative Art Deco motif, originally drawn by Alessandro Michele.
The limited-edition Rouge à Lèvres Satin range comprises the following three shades: 309 The Girl From Paris Rouge à Lèvres Satin; 410 No More Orchids Rouge à Lèvres Satin; 512 Maggie Scarlet Rouge à Lèvres Satin.
